This exhibit was originally created on a separate site housing the Clifton Johnson Digital Collection. That site, and this exhibit, were designed, developed, and implemented by Kirstin Kay, Project Manager, in 2010.

In 2015, the exhibit was moved to Digital Amherst. The text was edited and more images were added by Cynthia Harbeson, Head of Special Collections, and Adrienne Zimmerley, Archives Intern.
